Maxtec is proud to announce the addition of the Bird® MicroBlender to its robust portfolio of oxygen analysis and delivery solutions. As a trusted leader in respiratory care, Maxtec continues to deliver innovative technologies designed to inspire healthier lives. The Bird® MicroBlender exemplifies this commitment, offering accurate delivery of precise oxygen mixtures in a compact, familiar design.
“For decades, the Bird® MicroBlender has been trusted by respiratory care professionals for accurate delivery of oxygen,” says Kathy Ouellette, President and CEO of Perma Pure and Maxtec. “Today, we’re privileged to be the exclusive manufacturer of the original that set the standard for oxygen blenders—and pleased to make it available to clinicians and hospitals in the U.S. market.”
The Bird® MicroBlender facilitates delivery of accurate FiO₂ mixtures from two outlet ports. It can be used with masks, nasal cannulas, resuscitation bags, oxygen hoods, ventilators and treatments in a variety of applications, including anesthesia and supplemental oxygen therapy in healthcare facilities, NICUs, and transport. A Low Flow (0-30 LPM) model is currently available, with a High Flow model coming soon.
Maxtec has also introduced the Bird® Blender Maintenance Kit, the only complete solution known to be compatible with the Bird® MicroBlender. The Kit includes all essential components typically replaced during preventive maintenance for new and existing Bird® MicroBlenders, Sentry 2 Blenders, and most MaxBlend™ 2 Blenders.*
“The Bird® MicroBlender delivers precise oxygen levels for improved patient care,” adds Ouellette. “This is the same blender that the healthcare industry has known and loved for years—now readily available through Maxtec.”
All Bird® MicroBlenders and maintenance kits are available for sale through existing Maxtec channels. More information can be found at maxtec.com/bird.
