TaeWoong Medical USA, a leader in minimally invasive gastrointestinal (GI) solutions, is proud to announce the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with BiBBInstruments AB (“BiBB”), the Swedish medical device innovator behind EndoDrill® GI—the world’s first FDA-cleared powered biopsy instrument for endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
The agreement grants TaeWoong Medical USA exclusive rights to market and distribute EndoDrill® GI throughout the United States through 2028, with the option to extend through 2030. This partnership follows a previously announced Letter of Intent in May and builds on strong collaboration between the two companies during this year’s Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in San Diego, where EndoDrill® GI generated significant interest from the clinical community.

Strategic Rollout Plan for U.S. Market
TaeWoong Medical USA and BiBB have developed a joint commercialization plan that begins with a targeted launch at select U.S. hospitals in fall 2025, followed by a broader national rollout in 2026. The agreement includes aligned sales targets, marketing strategy, and pricing guidelines aimed at accelerating adoption of EndoDrill® GI in high-impact clinical settings.
